Julian Leyva Ospina was born in Pereira, Colombia on 23rd of june in 1991. Colombia is a beautyfull country that Julian had to leave when he was 8.His parents moved to Spain their new place to live. He always loved dancing. He spend his weekends with his aunts and cousins, but in his 18's he take the first Oriental dance class and he fall in love with this dance.

 

He arrived to Arenys de Mar, a coast town near to Barcelona. It was so easy for him to related with other kids. It was like they met since always. 

 

He start dancing at the age of 18 with Raquel Cruz. In that moment something inside of him awaked. Julian felt like dance it was his door to be free, big, comfortable and eager to learn more. He stayed for 2 years with Raquel Cruz and represented her company in competitions like maresme oriental. He finished his classes with Raquel and started with Alba Hayal in Mataró. He stayed with Alba and were part of her Ballet "Ballet Àrab de Catalunya" and performing in her Show "The swan Lake by Alba Hayal" an adaptation in Oriental style. At the same time he was growing up improving his dance in workshops with International Masters:  Mo. Geddawi, Munique neith, Momo kadous, Mohamed shahin, Soraia Zaied, Gitza Krotzch, Wael Mansour, Randa Kamel, Dina talaat.  In 2011 he was in  Randa Kamel of Course, Cairo, Egypt. It was the first time that he dance with a band. He can't imagine that in 2014 he will stay for a month and a half living the culture of cairo.

 

Now a days, he is in a big explosion of projects...the first one as a diamond polished julian is...the oriental diamond.
